Sales Terms Addendum: Additional Products and Subscriptions

Effective date: 2026-10-16

Status: DRAFT for Lena's live legal check. Each product goes live only when its feature flag is turned on.

This addendum adds products to our Sales Terms. Everything in the Sales Terms applies to these products, including who sells to you (§1), where we sell (§1A), refunds (§3), subscriptions (§4), delivery (§5), licence (§6), liability (§7) and law (§8). If this addendum and the Sales Terms differ on a product listed here, this addendum applies to that product.

The seller is Aurum Transfers Limited (trading as TaxProsRated), paid via PayPal. PayPal processes payments and we never see your card details. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude tax. Taxes may apply where required. Paid products are sold only in the countries listed in Sales Terms §1A. We don't sell paid products in the EU/EEA or the UK.

The price you pay is the one shown on the product page and at checkout.

A2. Prices can differ between time periods

We may set different prices for a product in different time periods, for example to test a price. Within any one period, everyone pays the same price for the same product. We don't show different prices to different visitors at the same time. The price shown before you pay is the price you pay. A price change doesn't affect what you've already bought. For subscriptions, Sales Terms §4 applies: at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it does.

A3. Subscription rules for these products

These products are subscriptions: the data pass, the day counter plan, rate watch, premium alerts, the newsletter adviser tier, the EA question bank, the white-label annual plan and bundle, and the annual rate-update renewal. Sales Terms §4 applies to all of them. In short:

Before you buy we show the price, the billing period, that it renews automatically, and how to cancel.
Consent: at checkout you tick an unticked box: "I agree this renews automatically at [price]/[period] until I cancel." You can't buy until you tick it.
Cancelling: cancel online in one click from the link in any subscription email or on your subscription page. Cancelling is as easy as signing up.
Access: you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Reminders: for annual plans we email you 7 to 30 days before renewal.
Emails: you get a confirmation when you subscribe and when you cancel.
No pro-rated refunds for part-periods unless the law requires them.

US businesses buying the data pass or white-label plans are invoiced directly by us via PayPal. The same renewal, reminder and cancellation rules apply to invoiced plans.

A4. Premium jurisdiction dossiers

A dossier is a deeper country report: residency routes, company and capital-gains rules, the treaty list, and banking and admin steps. Each figure shows its source and an as-of date.

The report rules in Sales Terms §2 apply. A dossier is general information, not tax, legal or financial advice. It carries this wording:

General information based on the answers you gave, not tax, legal or financial advice. We don't prepare returns or represent you. Confirm with a qualified tax professional before you file.

It lists rules and filings that may apply. It doesn't conclude that you must or needn't do anything, and doesn't say you qualify for anything.
It doesn't calculate your tax and doesn't complete forms.
Rules change. The as-of dates show when each figure was last checked against its source.

A5. Annual multi-country data pass (US businesses only)

A yearly licence to every dossier we publish, plus quarterly refreshes, for one US business.

US businesses only. Invoiced directly by us via PayPal.
Use is internal to your business. You may share extracts with your own clients if you keep the source, as-of date and the not-advice wording above. Don't resell or republish the dossiers as a dataset or product.
If the pass includes data delivered through our API, our API Terms and the API Terms Addendum also apply.
The dossier rules in A4 apply.

A6. Residency day counter plan

The full day counter as a plan on its own (it's also included in TaxProsRated Plus).

You enter travel days yourself. We never use GPS or background location.
Your entries are stored in your browser unless you turn on sync. With sync on, you can export and delete your data at any time.
Every count carries this label: "For reference. Residency depends on more than day counts. Not a residency determination."
The counter doesn't tell you whether you are or aren't resident anywhere.

A7. Rate watch

Email and/or webhook alerts when a tax rate changes in the jurisdictions you choose, with the official source and as-of date of the new value.

Alerts are information only. We don't guarantee we'll catch every change or deadline.
Alerts are sent on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of timeliness or completeness. Provided as is. Not for filing. No accuracy guarantee.
Our API Terms and the API Terms Addendum apply to webhooks and data use.

A8. Premium alerts

Multi-country deadline and rule-change alerts with a calendar feed, without the Plus assistant.

Alerts are information only. We don't guarantee we'll catch every change or deadline.
Check deadlines with the official source before you rely on them.

A9. Newsletter adviser tier

The paid newsletter with multi-country coverage, the full archive, and a CSV of rate changes with each issue.

Each CSV row shows its source and as-of date.
The newsletter and CSV are general information, not advice. Don't use the CSV to file returns.
The CSV is for your own and your business's internal use. You may quote individual figures to your clients with the source and as-of date. Don't resell or republish the CSV as a dataset.

A10. EA exam practice question bank

Original practice questions mapped to the IRS Special Enrollment Examination content outline, with explanations that cite the Internal Revenue Code and IRS publications.

We don't make pass-rate claims. Any certificate is a certificate of completion only. It doesn't earn CE credit.
Questions are for your own study. Don't copy, share or resell them.
Our Course Terms apply where they're relevant.

A11. White-label calculators: annual plan and 5-calculator bundle (US businesses only)

US businesses only. Invoiced directly by us via PayPal.
The annual plan is one white-label calculator billed yearly. The bundle covers up to five calculators, billed monthly or yearly.
The calculator licence in our Terms of Use §12 applies. Results must keep our "Estimate" label and disclaimer: "Estimate. For planning only. Not for filing. Results may differ from your actual tax."

A12. One-time calculator licence

A one-off payment for a calculator you can use without a subscription.

Perpetual use of the version you bought. It doesn't include later versions or new features.
12 months of rate updates from the date of purchase.
Non-transferable. For one firm or one user only. Don't share, resell or sublicense it.
Results are labelled "estimate, not for filing", and the label must stay visible.
After 12 months, rates may be out of date unless the annual rate-update renewal is active. The calculator then shows the date the rates were last checked and a "rates may be out of date" notice.
The annual rate-update renewal is a subscription: A3 and Sales Terms §4 apply, including the unticked consent box, one-click cancel and the annual reminder. If you cancel it, you keep the licence and the rates you have at that point.

A13. Refunds

Sales Terms §3 applies: you can ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase only if the product is faulty or wasn't delivered and we can't fix or deliver it promptly. Email support@taxprosrated.com with your order number. This doesn't affect any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Pro tools (tax professionals) — DRAFT, Lena 2026-10-14

Business buyers only. Pro tools are sold only to businesses in the United States. By buying, you confirm you are buying for a tax practice, not as a consumer.
Licence. You may use the checklists, calendars and feeds inside your own practice, including giving printed copies to your own clients. You may not resell them, redistribute the underlying data in bulk, or use them to build a competing data product.
Your professional responsibility. The outputs are information only, not tax advice. You alone are responsible for your professional work, your client advice and checking each item against the linked official source. We prepare no returns, review no documents and introduce no clients. Subscribing has no effect on your public directory profile.
Branded copies. If you add your firm's name or logo, you confirm you have the rights to it and you will cover us for any claim arising from its use. You may not remove the disclaimer, source links, as-of date or the "Rates from TaxProsRated" attribution, and you may not present the content as advice tailored to a client.
Accuracy and alerts. We take care to keep the data current, but we offer accuracy and change alerts on a best-effort basis only.
Everything else. The rest of these Sales Terms apply, including subscription, cancellation and refund rules, the liability cap and governing law.

Webinar seats — DRAFT, Lena 2026-10-14

What you buy. A seat gives one person access to one live webinar and its recording for [period]. It is a personal seat and can't be shared. Webinars are general information, not tax advice.
Where we sell. Seats are sold through PayPal, only to buyers in the countries listed in §1A.
Changes and refunds. If we cancel a webinar or move it by more than 7 days, you can choose a full refund or a seat at the new date. If a technical fault on our side stops you attending, we will refund you or give you the recording. Otherwise seats are non-refundable once the webinar starts. This doesn't affect any right you have under the law where you live.
Everything else. The rest of these Sales Terms apply.
